City Alive!

City Alive! Singapore's biggest Street Dance party will be held on 31 Jan 09, Saturday at City Hall Front (along St Andrew's Road) from 9.30pm to 3.00am. Join us for a time of fun and celebration! Come and party with renowned international and local DJs, catching their incredible spin and scratching skills and of course, tons of yummy food and drinks available, all at City Alive!

- First 2000 ticket holders who reach there on the actual day, will receive something related to HP.
- One free drink with every Ticket purchase (Tiger beer/ Soft Drinks)
- If you can get 20 or more people to purchase the tickets, you will only need to pay $13 for Passion card members OR $17 for non Passion card members (Non Passion card members will get free Passion card sign up with every ticket purchase).

Would you like to be part of Singapore's Biggest Street Dance Party? City Alive! is currently looking for volunteers!

City Alive! will be on 31 Jan 2009 at City Hall Front. Volunteers are required to report at 4pm and the dance party will last till 3am (1 Feb). As it is a dance party and club rules apply, all volunteers need to be at least 18 as of 31 Jan 2009. As volunteers, we will be split into different groups as security, logistics and many others.

This is a leadership camp, so punctuality and discipline is expected. No one is allowed to leave the camp at any time, unless for approved reasons.

Ensure that you follow closely to the list and bring sufficient camp items, especially those labelled as MUST bring items.

No music players, PSPs or entertainment electronic devices allowed. There will be a mass bag check, any mentioned items found will be confiscated.

Important to note: Please have sufficient rest before the camp, as the activities planned are very packed and demanding.

If you need to put your camp bags in SU room at an earlier time before the camp, do inform us, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

The NYP Campus road run 08 is finally here. as stated in the poster, the NYP campus road run 08 will be held on 19th November 2008, Wednesday, 3.30pm, NYP sports stadium.The run will end around 8pm. Event T-shirt will be given to participants. No entry fee. You can participate individually or in team of 6 (with at least 2 of the opposite gender).Female will run approximate 4.8km, male will run approximate 5.2km.
Medals are given to top few runners. It's a good bonding session with your classmates and friends. It's a chance to test how fast you are. Guys, a good pre test before your NAFA.

As the title says, this event is for YOU AND ONLY YOU – FRESHIES.
A whole day event with fun-filled activities, you might want to bring beach equipments – volleyball, rugby ball, Frisbee etc... and extra set of clothing to change into before the movie. You definitely do not want to go there stinky. :D


First off, we’ll be having some ice breaker games. After that you will get to play our very own Scavenger Hunt. Want to have your own activities at the beach with your friends AND NEW FRIENDS? No problem. There will be a free and easy timeslot; you can play your own games. Finally, after we leave for Vivo around 6.30pm, you can decide to join us for the movie rumoured to be one of the nicest show this season - Ma Ma Mia!!

In addition, there'll be a showcase of NYP's own Race Simulators, featuring the Singapore Grand Prix track, developed by NYP's very own School of Interactive & Digital Media!

NYP Adventure Club is organising Climb-Run 2008 on Saturday, 26 july 2008! The Categories are as follows:

3. Mixed Relay (girl-girl , boy-girl) Boy-Boy is not allowed

This year , participants will be given goodie bag and t-shirt with lots of goodies as well as attractive prizes! Registration can be made at Student Affairs Office or at the Climb-Run Booth which will be stationed outside Macdonalds every Monday , Wednesday and Friday from 11.45am-2pm!There is a registration fee of $5.

Sentosa beach day out

The very happening, oh so awesome Social department (ahem ahem) is organizing an outing for all at the beach! Details are as follows:


Date: 21 June 08 (Saturday)

Meeting point: Sentosa ticketing area, near Foodrepublic


Please bring along $3 for entrance fee. Personal expenses to be taken care of by the own individual. Brunch/lunch/dinner will not be provided. Please also bring an extra set of clothes to change into.
